about me.

I am a Master’s student in Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley, with experience in health reporting, court observation, and editorial work.
I reported for Oakland North, writing biweekly health stories and collaborating on community impact projects with Oaklandside.
I also served as an Engagement & Health Reporting Intern at STAT, where I curated content, supported audience growth across platforms, and contributed to health coverage. In addition, I worked as a Court Watch Intern with the People’s Vanguard of Davis, attending court proceedings, conducting case research, and contributing to digital coverage of California’s legal system.
Previously, I gained editorial experience as an Editorial Assistant at Texas A&M University Press, as a Life and Arts reporter for The Battalion, and as a Freedom of Information Act Intern with The Daily Dot.
I hold a B.A. in Journalism with minors in Neuroscience and Psychology from Texas A&M University, and I am also the author of the novel 10, published on Amazon with over 85 positive reviews.
